Pupil Leadership and Responsibilities

At Woodlands, we believe every child should have opportunities to share their ideas, take responsibility and make a positive contribution to school life. Our pupil leadership roles help children develop confidence, independence, teamwork and a strong sense of belonging.

Through roles such as School Councillors, Wellbeing Champions and Playground Buddies, pupils are encouraged to listen to others, represent their classmates, support their peers and help make Woodlands an even better place to learn and play.

Our School Council meets regularly to discuss pupils’ views, suggest improvements and contribute to decisions that affect the school community. Minutes from each meeting are published below so that children, families and visitors can see what has been discussed and the actions being taken.
